Pharmacy Recalling Almost 100 Medications

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - A compounding pharmacy in Livingston County is recalling almost 100 unexpired, sterile medications.

The facility in South Lyon says one of the medications was found to be contaminated.

The foreign materials were discovered in a Henry Ford Health System hospital.

The products were purchased between July 1 and October 19.

All customers involved have been mailed a notice of the recall.

Officials with the pharmacy are testing to determine the exact nature of the contamination.
