Unemployment Benefits Could Be Cut Off For Illegal Drug Users

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Expected to go through the house today is a law that could cut-off unemployment benefits for people who do illegal drugs.

The bill would also disqualify people from those benefits if they fail a drug test required by a possible employer or if they refuse to take a drug test.

This is all part of a larger legislation dealing with unemploymen insurance fraud.
