Leaders Meet In Lansing To Discuss Workplace Diversity

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Regional leaders came together in Lansing to discuss workplace diversity across the board.

The goal was to open the eyes of the community and talk about how to attract world class talent needed to support the local economy and create jobs for everybody.

"We feel that creating an inclusive work force will help us increase our bottom line economically for the region," said Jean Morciglio Dean, of the Extended Learning Professional Studies at LCC.

The LCC president said in a statement "in order to attract world class talent to the region, we must include and accept diversity of all kinds."
