Officials Investigate Third Fatal Accident In 24-Hours

LAINGSBURG, Mich. (WLNS) - Officials are investigating the third deadly traffic accident in less than 24 hours in Mid-Michigan.

 

It happened in Shiawasee County at about 6:00p.m. Friday.

Officials say a semi-truck was headed west on Brewer Road when it hit another vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The semi rolled over and ended up on its side.

The accident remains under investigation.

The first crash happened around 2a.m. near Charlotte. The second was in Windsor Township on M-99.
