Three In Custody For Motorcycle Theft

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Three suspects are in jail today following a motorcycle theft and assault incident that happened early Sunday morning.

It happened on the 2500 block of east M-21 when police responded to reports of gunshots from the residence.

Officials say a party was taking place when it was discovered that two people were trying to steal a motorcycle from outside.

Once the resident of the home was alerted, he got a gun and shot it into the air.

Officials were able to locate the motorcycle and the two people who stole it.

A 24-year-old Durand man and 21-year-old Owosso man are in custody for the theft and another 21-year-old Owosso man faces multiple counts of felonious assault and firearm related charges.
