Michigan Energy Options Announces New Study

Posted: Updated:

MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - Michigan Energy Options met in Meridian Township to announce the launch of its regional energy baseline study.

Thanks to a multi-million dollar grant, the organization has been able to conduct energy studies from the state capitol to Webberville for over a year.

The non-profit wants to figure out how homes and businesses in the area consume energy.

"We're trying to understand the baseline energy consumption, so we can kind of compare ourselves to other communities because it's very important that communities that are prosperous and sustainable have a handle on their energy consumption," said John Kinch, the executive director of Michigan Energy Options.

Michigan Energy Options is looking for homes and businesses to participate in their energy study. For more information, visit Seen on 6.
