Healthcare Glitches Still An Issue

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - Problems with the President's Affordable Healthcare Act continue.

Now for the first time lawmakers have a chance to grill a member of the Obama Administration about what went wrong.

Marilyn Tavenner heads Medicare & Medicaid Services, the agency in charge of the troubled healthcare.gov website.

Republicans and some democrats have been quick to offer their opinions of her performance.

Tavanner, a former nurse and hospital administrator continues to promise the site will be fixed.

"In the first few days when the site went live few could create an account, now 90 percent can," said Marilyn Tavenner, Cms Administrator.

On Wednesday, a congressional committee will grill Tavanner's boss, Health and Human Services Chief Kathleen Sebelius.

Many are saying Sebelius should resign in the wake of the troubled health care roll out.
