Student Brings Special Brownies To School, Got Pot From Parents

Posted: Updated:

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Police believe the student who they say brought brownies made with marijuana to Vandercook Lake High School got the pot from her parents.

According to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot, Jackson sheriffs deputies say the parents of the 14-year-old girl both have medical marijuana cards.

The three students who ate the brownies did report they had side effects afterwords.

So far, there are no criminal charges against the student or her parents, but a report of the incident is being sent to presecutors.
