Car Crushed By Grain Auger, Driver Expected To Survive

BERLIN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - Police say a man hit a grain auger being towed by from Byron Center.

It happened on West Grand River near Bliss Road in Berlin Township.

 

They tell 6 News the Saranac man it the auger before it cleared the roadway.

 

 

 

The man was trapped in his car, but once he was rescued, he was taken to Spectrum Health in Grand Rapids, where he's now listed in stable condition.

 

The man towing the auger was not hurt.

The crash is still under investigation.
