Officials Announcing U. Mich. Fundraising Campaign

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The University of Michigan is set to announce the largest fundraising campaign in the school's history.

At a media event Thursday, university officials are expected to discuss the public phase of the Victors for Michigan campaign.

President Mary Sue Coleman, Provost Martha Pollack and other school officials are to provide information about the campaign's priorities and announce the goal and amount raised to date in the nucleus fund.

The last campaign was called the Michigan Difference. It had a goal of $2.5 billion and raised $3.2 billion.
