House Expected To Vote On Several Bills

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Four bills dealing with where and how Michiganders can use their bridge cards will be up for vote Thursday.

The house is meeting now to discuss legislation that would prevent bridge card users from certain ATMs in places like liqueur stores as well as stop people from using their card to gamble on horse races.

The other bills being discussed deal with theft, including a desire to broaden the meaning of identity theft and create harsher punishments for those who commit the crime.
