Fracking Moves Into Mid-Michigan

FOWLERVILLE, Mich. (WLNS) - The oil extraction process known as fracking is on it's way to Fowlerville and over 100 concerned people showed up Tuesday night for a comminty meeting on the controversial practice.

In Conway Township, the equipment needed to start the underground fracturing is already being brought in and residents say it's just a matter of time until it begins.

Nearby residents say their worried about the effects the process will have on the area's water supply.
