Shooting Sends Five People To The Hospital

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Shots fired on Lansing's southwest side send five people to the hospital.

Lansing police say it happened on the 4100 block of Heathgate Drive around 3:30 a.m.

Police tell 6 News there were numerous people at the home when an argument broke out, leading to the shootings. 

The victims include two 33-year-old men, one 22-year-old man, one 18-year-old man and a juvenile female. Police say they are unsure how many shots were fired, and if the bullets came from one or multiple guns.

On scene, a man and two women were arrested on unrelated charges. Right now, it's unknown if they were involved in the shootings. Police expect them to face formal charges Sunday.

The case remains under investigation by the Lansing Police Department.
