MSU Students Send Medical Relief To Philippines

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Students at Michigan State University have made an effort worth more than $100,000 to help victims of Typhoon Haiyan.

Five pallets of boxes filled with medical supplies, like surgical equipment, gowns and medication was sent to hospitals and community clinics in the Philippines.

It was a joint effort between MSU student group Generate Help 2 Heal Generations and the University's Institute of International Health.
