Rose Bowl Ticket Requests Exceed Allotted Number

Posted: Updated:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Michigan State is now reporting ticket requests to the Rose Bowl have exceeded the number they've allotted for donors, students and season-ticket holders.

According to the MSUSpartans website, over 31,000 requests for tickets were submitted for 24,000 tickets available. This means no tickets will be sold to the public or alumni.

Those who submitted for tickets will receive an email at 10p.m. letting them know if they'll get them or not. Tickets are expected to mail on December 20 via FedEx.

The January 1, 2014 game is the 100th Annual Rose Bowl Game.
