Guy Holding 'Burn The Couch' Sign At Game Won't Face Charges

Posted: Updated:

EAST LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The person holding a sign reading "Burn The Couch" in Indy during the Michigan State, Ohio State championship game will not face legal trouble.

The person's attorney and detectives met Friday and announced they will not be pressing charges.

"He certainly had no intention of someone taking his sign literally. He is a good student, and a loyal MSU Spartan who has learned a valuable lesson about his sense of humor," said Andrew Abood, the person's attorney.
