Man Charged After Walking With Shotgun

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - A man is behind bars after walking with a shotgun.

It happened around 10a.m. on Monday near Willow and Robertson in Lansing.

A witness called, saying he saw a man with a long gun. Shortly after identifying the man, police quickly put him under arrest after discovering he had a shotgun under his jacket.

Edrick Pruitt, 23, of Lansing was taken in. He's being charged with three felonies: possession of a firearm by a felon, carrying a concealed weapon and a felony firearm charge, all as a habitual offender. Pruitt is being held on $10,000 bond.

He's expected back in court next week.
