Bryan Farmer Gives Judge An Earful Prior To Sentence

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Bryan Farmer muttered a variety of profanities towards prosecutors and the judge before even hearing his sentence.

The 50-year-old was charged with sexually assaulting a mentally ill woman. He learned he will spend the rest of his life behind bars without parole. He was charged with criminal sexual conduct and unlawful imprisonment against a woman with mental disabilities.

In response, Judge Aquilina stood firm. Farmer's trial initially grabbed headlines after police and prosecutors said a Lansing Police Detective backdated a police report during the trial. The detective is still on administrative leave.

His trial became big after police and prosecutors discovered a detective for the Lansing Police Department attempted to falsify evidence. The detective on that case, Catherine Farrell, was placed on administrative leave as a result.
