ST JOHNS, Mich. (WLNS) - A Kalamazoo man now faces three charges after police say he walked into the Admiral Gas station in St. Johns with a shotgun and took off with money.

Patrick Lamar Adamson, 39, was arraigned Thursday on charges of armed robbery, felony firearm posession and having a short barrelled shotgun.

Police say Adamson lost control of his car and crashed into a ditch while trying to get away from police after the robbery.

He's now being held in the Clinton County Jail and due back in court in early January.
