TMSG: Old Town Welcomes 2nd Annual Festival Of Trees

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The second annual Festival of Trees at the Turner Dodge in Old Town will light up more than just fancy Christmas trees this season, but also hundreds of smiling faces.

23 decorative trees on all three floors of the mansion are currently on display.

An added fun feature this year is that many of the rooms reflect the way their trees are decorated.

"We've also got a wine bottle tree, a Preuss Pets fish tree with wreaths, a lot of cool trees," said Michael Beebe, the president of Friends of Turner Dodge House.

"All the proceeds go to maintaining the interior of the house and the outdoor garden. It's a family friendly event, kids, grandparents, anyone can enjoy coming here for this," said Beebe.

The Festival of Trees at the Turner Dodge House in Old Town runs through December 29th. Tickets are $5 each or $10 for the whole family. For times and group appointments, call 517-483-4220.
