Semi-Truck Carrying Cows Rolls Over

Posted: Updated:

FOWLER, Mich. (WLNS) - A semi-truck full of cows rolled over in Fowler Tuesday morning.

It happened around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Townsend and Wright Road.

Clinton County Sheriffs Deputies say they believe the driver of the truck tried to stop, and the icy road conditions forced the truck to slide off the road and flip over.

Deputies say the truck was carrying at least 30 cows, at least one of which will have to be put down because of its injuries.

The driver of the truck suffered a minor shoulder injury; deputies expect he will be okay.
