More Than 3,000 BWL Customers Without Power Sunday Morning

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Lansing Board of Water and Light reports 3,193 customers remain without power, as of 5 p.m. Sunday.

That number is down from the 4,500 customers who didn't have power Saturday night.

Line crews are working in the following areas Sunday to restore power along circuits that are reflected by the following street intersections: 

Pattengill/Barnes

Michigan/Renker

Cumberland/Tecumseh River

Mt Hope/Sunnyside

Northeast/Community

Blue Lagoon/St. Joe

Saginaw/Waverly

Jolly/MLK

Jolly/Collins

Holmes/MLK

Hagadorn/Haslett (E. Lansing)

Albert/Hagadorn (E. Lansing)

Abbott/Grand River (E. Lansing)

Saginaw/Harrison (E. Lansing)

Orchard/Ann (E. Lansing)

River Terrace/Hagadorn (E. Lansing)


BWL says the following areas are next in line for repair (in no particular order) and will be worked on when line crews become available:

Pennsylvania/Mt Hope

St Joe/Waverly

MLK/Mt Hope

St Joe/Hosmer

Grand River/Cynwood

Canal/St. Joe

Cavanaugh/Pennsylvania

MLK/Oakland

Woodruff/Kingswood

Kalamazoo/Clifford

Lake Lansing/Larch

David/White

Walker/Frederick

Pleasant Grove/Fielding

Saginaw/Iris

Jolly/Kensington

Richard/Yunker

N.Hampton/Wood

Sunday BWL has 26 line crews making repairs in the field, in addition to 12 tree trimming crews, three electric service worker crews and five spotter crews.
