Three Arrested After Party Store Robbery

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Three people are behind bars after police believe they robbed a party store on Monday night. 

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of South Cedar at the Jackpot Party Store.

Police say one man walked into the store with a handgun, pointing it at an employee and demanding cash. The suspect left with cash.

Shortly after the robbery, a police officer saw a vehicle matching the description the store clerk gave them.

There were three men in the vehicle and all were arrested in relation to the robbery.

The three men arrested are facing the following charges:

Steve Anthony McCatrey, 43-year-old Lansing man
Count 1: Armed Robbery (Felony)
Count 2: Felon in Possession (Felony)
Count 3: Carrying a Concealed weapon (Felony)
Count 4: Felony Firearm (Felony)
BOND: $150,000. (Cash/Surety)
McCatrey's pre-exam and preliminary hearing are scheduled for early January.

 

Marquis Antwon Demyers, 24-year-old Lansing man
Count 1: Armed Robbery (Felony)
BOND: $50,000. (Cash/Surety)
Demyers' pre-exam and preliminary hearing are scheduled for early January. 

 

Anthony Tyrone Jackson, 40-year-old Lansing man
Count 1: Armed Robbery (Felony)
BOND: $50,000. Cash/Surety
Jackson's pre-exam and preliminary hearing are scheduled for early January.
