LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Lansing Board of Water and Light will have a special meeting to address concerns, emergency action plans and a full review.
Out of the meeting, the board is requesting two independent review teams, one for the outrage response and one for the communications response.
The public acknowledged a lack of communication and plan during an emergency. During the meeting, a crisis communication plan for the public and amongst board memebers will also be developed.
GM Peter Lark will present the parameters for a possible credit to those who went without power.
They also plan to commend the men and women who worked on the line continuously while customers were out of power for 10 days.
The meeting will be on January 7 at 5:30p.m. It will be held at their downtown Reo Town location at 1201 S. Washington in Lansing. The meeting is open to the public.
