Power Restored To Dozens From Blown Fuse

Posted: Updated:

DEWITT, Mich. (WLNS) - The snow is also causing problems for the Lansing Board of Water and Light crews.

Around 50 customers were in the dark in DeWitt for around 10 hours Monday. Power has since been restored to all but two customers throughout BWL's service territory.

Officials say a blown fuse near Webb Road is to blame, but that it was not storm related. They say it was under ground, so BWL crews needed to dig through the snow and find it.
