Streets Still Hard To Maneuver After Storm

It's been a snowy, slippery mess for some people in Mid-Michigan after the storm, as they try to maneuver through their neighborhoods.

Many are getting stuck in the process, including Will Logan.

"We can't hardly leave our house, it's a little bit ridiculous to be honest," said Logan.

Logan lives at Windcharme Estates in Delta Township and has been dealing with these conditions since the storm on Sunday.

"It's a regular occurrence," said Logan.

Its bad enough that the college student has limited the amount of times he leaves his home so he doesn't have to deal with the mess.

"We do our best to stay on campus as much as possible because we know its going to be a hassle as many times as we go in and out, just try to eliminate that number as much as possible," said Logan.

It's not just in Delta Township but also in the city of Lansing, people are dealing with messy roads.

"I took my daughter to work today and I said I'm going to leave the car here and walk home," said Auora Aguilar, resident of Lansing.  "I'd be better off walking than driving, because its not fun."

Aguilar says she hasn't seen a plow down her street all week.

"I don't know if they plowed a little bit of it when the first snow came down but I haven't seen them and we really need it," says Aguilar.

As for Logan, the whole situation just has him aggravated.

"This neighborhood in particular we can't manage to get out or in," says Logan.

The Eaton County Road Commission says that they plowed Logan's subdivion Tuesday night as well as after our cameras left this afternoon. Logan adds that the streets do seem to be better.
