Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The City of Lansing is doing another round of plowing down residential streets.

Due to melting snow and freezing temperatures, crews are working to make roads as clear as possible. Rain is expected in the next 24 hours, so they're working to clear storm drains.

The city says they are currently plowing routes 2,4,14,15,17, 22, 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 while looking at their Map Plow Route.

The city is asking residents to move their vehicles from neighborhood streets immediately through the weekend. The ban for overnight parking remains in effect from 2a.m. to 5a.m.

The sidewalk ordinance in Lansing has also been reinstated. Officials say residents must clear their sidewalks as soon as possible. Complaints about uncleared sidewalks can be reoprted by calling 517-483-4161.
