Haslett 62 - DeWitt 51 (Girls)

Bob Currier had a group of athletes who knew how to win. A lot of the gals led the volleyball team to a Class A quarterfinals last fall.

Picking things up in the third quarter, Mackenna Ott connected with Mackenzie Decook. She drove inside and she cradled the basketball, as she layed it in for two to give haslett an 11-point lead.

To the fourth quarter, DeWitt's Hannah Stoll had a pull-up jumper. It was a nice jump shot that cut the lead to 9.

But the Vikings were too tough for the Panthers. Ott hit Karson Tripp. and she juked out the defender to make it happen.

The Vikings beat DeWitt, 62 to 51. They are 6-1 overall and captured first place in the conference with the win.
