Lansing Man Shot During Party

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- A 26-year-old Lansing man recovers after being shot at a party on Lansing's south side.

Lansing police say it happened around 1:20 a.m. Sunday in the parking lot of Elks Lodge, on the 5300 block of S. MLK Blvd.

Officers from the Ingham County Sheriff's Department and Michigan State Police troopers were called to the scene to help control the crowd. 

Police are not sure who fired the bullet.

They say the victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
