Meijer Issues Warning For 'Fuel Contamination'

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Meijer has issued an alert for Jackson customers, saying there's been a "fuel contamination" problem with its diesel fuel.

It was sold at the Meijer gas station on Airport Road in Jackson.

The company says it may have been contaminated with un-leaded gasoline during a fuel delivery.

Records show approximately 175 customers may have been affected.

Meijer is currently attempting to reach any affected customers. To be sure, call 1-800-543-3704. If you got diesel fuel beginning last Wednesday, January 8 between 1p.m. and before 8am. Monday, January 13.
