Posted: Updated:

LIVINGSTON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - Victims of the I-96 shooter took the stand Wednesday afternoon to testify against Raulie Casteel, the man whom police say shot randomly at more than two dozen cars in four Michigan counties back in October 2012.

He faces multiple charges including felony fire-arm, terrorism and assault with intent to murder.

Jennifer Kupiec, whose car was shot at October 12th, 2012 along I-96 fought back tears as she relived the experience from the witness stand.

"I just started hysterically crying because where I could see where the bullet was. It was just so close to where I was sitting in my vehicle and I knew that that could've been me. I immediately called my mom, she told me to hang up and call 911," said Kupiec.

Court officials expect the trial will span between two and three weeks, as dozens more witnesses are expected to testify.
