BWL Holds Power Restoration Response Community Forums

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - The Lansing Board of Water and Light still wants to hear from customers and members of the community. They have started their own top to bottom review of the company's outage restoration response.

This time, they're using the concerns of mid-Michiganders as a guideline. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday the company is giving mid-Michiganders a chance to voice their concerns at community forums and that input will also be included in the review.

BWL General Manager Peter Lark says they hope to use the recommendations voiced by community members at these three community forums to make improvements within the company. Lark also hopes the meeting will help restore trust and confidence to their customers. BWL Spokesman Steve Serkaian agrees.

The first forum will take place for East Lansing and Meridian Township residents at the Hannah Community Center on Wednesday at 6 p.m.

On Thursday BWL hopes to hear the concerns of Delta and Lansing Township residents at the Delta Township Administration Building at 7 p.m.

On Friday, BWL will call for all Lansing residents to meet at the Reo Town Depot at 7p.m.
