Flagstar Bank Lays Off About 15 Jackson Employees

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - About 15 people in Jackson were laid off from Flagstar Bank, according to our media partners at the Jackson Citizen Patriot.

Flagstar Bank is current restructuring its workforce and plans to save $40 million per year by laying off about 600 people.

"Unfortunately, in order to preserve jobs in the future, we have to lay off some people. It's to better position us for the future," said Susan Bergesen, Flagstar Bank spokeswoman.
