Police Investigating MSU Bookstore Credit Card Fraud

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - If you bought any Spartan gear at the Spartan bookstore around Christmas, you'll want to check your bank statements.

Michigan State University police are investigating a credit card fraud that occurred on December 17.

Two people contacted the store to buy Rose Bowl gear and they noticed discrepancies in their order. When the two victims checked their bank statements they saw fraudulent charges.

MSU police say anyone that placed an order over the phone at the Spartan bookstore between Dec. 12 and Dec. 27 should review their credit card statements for fraudulent charges.

Police have interviewed several suspects and are seeking warrants for their arrest.
