Young Girl Thrown From Bus After Crashing With Semi-Truck

EATON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WLNS) - A young girl is recovering in the hospital after an Eatran Bus and semi-truck crashed.

It happened around 8:25 a.m. Thursday on Flanders Road at M-50 (Clinton Trail).

Police say the bus, carrying the driver and young girl, stopped at a stop sign, then continued across Clinton Trail, when it was hit. The force of the crash threw the girl from the bus. She was taken to the hospital.

The bus driver was also taken to the hospital with back injuries. Both the driver and the girl are expected to survive. The semi-truck driver was not injured.

Police are still investigating the accident.
