Pretrial Rescheduled For Mom Accused Of Smothering Child

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - The pretrial hearing for the Jackson mom accused of unintentionally smothering her 27-day-old-daughter to death was rescheduled for Friday.

The pretrial hearing was has been rescheduled from January 7 for Amanda Redman. She is charged with involuntary manslaughter and second degree child abuse.

Police say she fell asleep on the couch with her infant daughter and unintentionally smothering her to death on April 2.

She has 6 other children, none of which are in her care.
