Okemos 71 - East Lansing 60

Still in the CAAC Blue, two coaches bonded before the game - Jeff Wonch of Okemos and Steve Finamore of East Lansing.

Akeel Mitchell of East Lansing drove thru the lane, split the defense, and missed the shot. But Miguel Montez got a rebound and putback to put the Trojans up two early.

Okemos was then on offense, and the Chieftains had some shooters. One of them, Connor George, had a trey to put the Chiefs up by one.

A bit later, George missed from long range, and the Chieftains pounded the boards. They had three cracks at it, and Edward Smith finally converted. Okemos then went up by three.

Okemos ran away with it, 71-60.
