Lansing to Open Warming Centers

With the frigid temperatures and snow we are expecting this weekend, the city has designated warming centers to get out of the cold. The National Weather Service is predicting the Lansing area will get 2-4 inches of snow with periods of whiteouts. Wind chills are expected at -20 to -30 degrees and could cause frost bite in less than 30 minutes. Down power lines from wind gusts are also possible. Please stay at least 25 feet away from down power lines. BWL customers should report power outages and downed lines at 877-295-5001.

The list below of city community centers will be open Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 9 pm, Saturday, 8:30am to 5pm, but closed Sunday.
