Consumers Energy Continuing Gas Line Evaluation

DELTA TWP., Mich. (WLNS) - Consumers Energy and Delta township officials will continue evaluating hundreds of buildings today.

Crews are looking into possible over-pressuring of natural gas lines.

Crews are looking at roughly 7,300 buildings in the township between Willow Highway on the north, Waverly Road on the east, Canal Road on the west and Lansing Road on the south.

Officials say there is no immediate danger, but as a reminder if you smell gas in your home or business. you should leave immediately and call 911.
