3 Convicted After Attaching To Enbridge Pipeline Equipment

STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. (WLNS) - Three of the four people who protested the construction of an Embridge pipeline in July have been convicted.

The group gathered at the site of a pipeline construction in Stockbridge. Four people locked themselves onto the equipment to try to stop the construction.

Three of the four were all found guilty of trespassing Friday, which yields up to 30 days in jail, as well as resisting arrest and obstruction that is punishable up to two years in jail.

Their sentencings are scheduled for March 15.
