Terri Lynn Land Resigns From Republican National Committee

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - Former Michigan Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land has resigned from the Republican National Committee.

 

Land says she's stepping down to focus on on her campaign for an United States Senate seat. In 2012, Land was elected for a four year term to the Republican National Committee.

Land said she planned to step down from the RNC after the primary election in August, but because there might not be a primary, Land says she the "timing makes sense" to resign now.
