Holt 60 - Lansing Eastern 49

Posted: Updated:

For the big game of the night, the Rams from Holt tried to keep pace with undefeated Grand Ledge. It was a road test at Lansing Eastern.

In the first quarter, Tyrome Maxwell pulled up and drained a triple for Eastern. The Quakers led early.

More from the Quakers, Dre Dentmond went to Tameron Williams-Baker and Tameron went back to the big man. He hit the jumper and Eastern began to pull away.

But do not count out coach Matt Essell and the Rams. Holt committed petty theft, and then, Don'Quall Jackson pushed the pace ahead to Devinn Lovette. Holt had their first lead of the game.

Later, there was more love for Lovette. He had another steal and he was gone.

Holt improved to 6-1 in the Blue after a 60-49 victory. It was an important win for the Rams to keep pace with Grand Ledge.
