Grand ledge was looking to stay perfect in the Blue, as the Comets hosted Lansing Sexton.
In the first quarter, Cassell Jones got a steal and then dropped a lay-up. Grand Ledge led.
Sexton coach Ron Banks told his boys to keep their heads up. And Malik Mack did his job. He dished to Cameron King and the Big Reds kept it close.
But later, sophomore Malik Adams ripped one away and Jones got to the bucket.
Grand Ledge kept an iron-grip on the Blue, with a 79-58 final. The Comets are now 8-0.
