Okemos 51 - Everett 49

Posted: Updated:

Straight to the fourth, the Vikings scored off the inbound by Marvin Smith to Zavier Coothin. Everett led by three with a minute left.

But okemos was not done. A great save by Darius Morris to James Moore for a hoop and harm. He made a free throw to tie the game with thirty seconds left.

Everett could have taken a final shot. But after a miss, Okemos forward Edward Smith grabbed a rebound and tripped over a Viking. A foul was called on the kid laying on the floor.

It was bad luck for the Vikings, as the favorite flat-top drained the game-winning free throws.

Okemos escaped, 51-49, and Edward Smith was the hero.
