Haslett sat in second place in the Red with just two games back behind DeWitt. A win against Fowlerville was crucial for the Vikings.
Picking up late in the game, Branden Allen connected with Patrick Harney who drove inside for a lay-in. It sat on the rim but eventually dropped through.
Fowlerville responded right back as Drew Vielbig knocked down a jumper in transition to cut Haslett's lead to nine.
But Haslett pulled it out in the end. Bryce Dickman had a give-and-go to Luke Keener underneath, and Keener got up on it.
Haslett won by a final of 68-50, and the Vikings play St. Johns and DeWitt in the upcoming week.
