Lansing Officials Warn of Travel Issues

Posted: Updated:

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- City of Lansing Officials are urging residents to limit their travels over the next 48 hours while crews clear the snow from area roads.

If you have to travel, reduce your speed, and make sure there is extra distance between you and the car in front of you.

Plowing of roads will continue through the night on all major streets in the area.

Vehicles parks on city streets that interfere with plowing operations may be ticketed or towed at the owners expense.

Residents and businesses are reminded that city ordinance requires sidewalks to be cleared with 24 hours of a storm event.
