6 News Plunges Into Freezing Cold Water For Special Olympics

JACKSON COUNTY, Mich. (WLNS) - You could say everybody who participated in the Special Olympics "Polar Plunge" in Jackson this weekend is a winner.

6 News took the plunge Saturday morning into the freezing cold water of Clark Lake.

More than 150 other brave souls plunged this weekend and all to raise money for Special Olympic athletes in Michigan.

More than $20,000 was raised this weekend.

If you want to participate, there are plenty of other plunges happening across the state.
