ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a suburban Detroit woman could face charges soon in the death of her adult son, whose dismembered remains were found dumped in trash bags along the sides of roads.

Police in the Detroit suburb of St. Clair Shores say the Macomb County prosecutor's office is expected to review a warrant request for murder and dismemberment charges Monday in the case.

Police took the 59-year-old woman into custody Friday. She could face an arraignment as soon as Monday.

The woman lives in St. Clair Shores, just east of Detroit. Her name and the name of the 32-year-old victim weren't released. The victim was reported missing Jan. 26 and identified through fingerprints.

The man's remains were found Thursday in neighboring St. Clair County, about 50 miles northeast of Detroit.
