Crash On US-127 Leaves One In Serious Condition

JACKSON, Mich. (WLNS) - Police in Jackson were busy Monday morning investigating an accident that a witness says was a result of one vehicle not slowing down when traffic was going at a snails pace.

The accident happened on southbound US-127 under the Page Avenue overpass in Leoni Township around 10:30a.m. Monday.

 

Officials say the driver of a Mercury SUV hit the back of a semi-trailer and then slid off the highway.

The 47-year-old man from Parma was wearing his seatbelt and was taken to Allegiance Health in Jackson. The crash left him with serious injuries.
