Winter Weather Advisory: Snow Continues Until Noon, 4-6 Inches Expected

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) - It's another snowy day in mid-Michigan and wind isn't helping drivers.

6 News had heard of multiple slide offs and at least one accident on southbound Cedar St. at the US-127 exit ramp. Please allow extra travel time and drive carefully. Drivers will see snow drifting across roads and blowing around, causing lower visibility.

Snow is expected to continue falling until at least noon Wednesday, but the drifting snow will continue.

In Lansing, the expected snow total is 4 inches and in Jackson 6-7. Hillsdale is expected to see around 5 inches.

Temperatures throughout the day range from a high of 22 to a low tonight of 17.

Colder weather returns Thursday and Friday before snow showers return this weekend. Wind chills will fall to -20 by Thursday night.
